V2 Migration, Money, and Vy-Space
Happy Day RoboWarriors!
Why did the cryptocurrency leave its old blockchain for a new one?
Because it wanted a fresh start and a chance to break free from its “chain” of command!
It’s official! We (RBIF) have migrated to our new V2 token and this is very exciting news! No, we didn’t leave the ETH chain, but we did migrate from our old smart contract to a new one. This has arguably been one of the smoothest migrations in the crypto industry. Crypto migrations and upgrades are inherently intricate processes, and even with careful planning, unexpected issues often arise. This highlights the importance of thorough testing, transparency, community engagement, and preparedness to handle potential challenges during migration events.
Pulling off a skillful and virtually painless migration is no small feat. It takes a lot (read a lot) of time, talent, and field expertise to do it right. Coding and realizing smart contracts is not for the inexperienced.
Even experienced developers can leave holes and doors for the ethically challenged to crawl through and open:
Ethereum Classic (ETC) 51% attack: In January 2020, Ethereum Classic experienced a series of 51% attacks, where malicious actors gained control of more than 50% of the network’s mining power. This allowed them to double-spend ETC tokens and disrupt the network. The attacks raised concerns about the security of the blockchain and led to a loss of confidence in the project.
Tron Network Migration (2020): The Tron network experienced a major outage during its token migration. The outage lasted for several days, and users were unable to access their tokens during that time.
These are both good projects, but show where the best intentions were met with the worst outcome. Again, to their credit, our team of developers carried this off with minimal difficulties. Less than two weeks after the new contract has taken effect, not only is the price action favorable, but morale among the RoboWarriors seems high. Thanks to all the Warriors that stood with us through this. We are certain the best times are yet to come.
Saying that, we would also like to take this opportunity to give a big shout-out to those hard workers behind the scenes; that being our leadership and dev teams who have worked tirelessly to make this event so successful. So, for all you do, this rally’s for you :) and us.
Money
Songs are written about it, crimes are committed for it, and movies are made about both making it and losing it. It’s not everything, but it’s close. Just try to live any reasonably accommodating life without it. Ancient texts cite that the love of it is the root of all evil. Modern poets reflect upon its transformative and profound importance. No matter your personal idealogy concerning it, one thing is for certain…we all need some of it.
RBIF is founded upon two guiding principles: Community and Financial Freedom. The synergism of these bonded attributes drives forward our mission to bring attainable wealth to those with the vision to reach out and succeed. This requires action and vigilance on behalf of both the community and the project.
Speaking of which, RoboWallet is getting launched within weeks. Not kidding…we are super excited to be bringing this highly anticipated and crown jewel of our ecosystem to market. Very exciting times ahead! Hang on guys :) Again, a web3 wallet that allows you to manage and track both fiat and crypto. Game-changing.
Vy-Space
This past Sunday evening, Ms Vy hosted a new Twitter Space show. Ms Vy talked about the project, Certik, mainnnet, and V2. A couple of our long-term holders whose handles are RBIF-Slovenia and RBIF-America (co-host) also spoke about their experiences with the project.
Certik: serves as a blockchain and smart contract auditing company. The contract with Certik was signed and they are auditing our RoboWallet and RoboEx.
Mainnet: Both the Apple Store and Google Play have given their approvals for our RoboWallet to be available to their customers. A new network was also added to the wallet, giving it four major networks, including of course the Ethereum network.
V2: Ms Vy gave a rundown of the migration and how important this move was for our project.
RBIF-America co-hosted and is a long-term holder and also an ardent supporter of this project. No need to guess where he is from. RBIF-Slovenia, as his name implies, is a holder who lives in the small and beautiful country of Slovenia. Some of the pics they share with us are absolutely breathtaking. He and his wife are both long-term holders who work very hard as volunteers for the project. He shared his experiences and thoughts about the project, and what it means to him. A little about our Host and CEO: Ms Vy is a crypto veteran who first got started with BTC back in 2017. She has a very impressive resume and corporate skillset — which includes SaaS Sales, Early-Stage Startups, Entrepreneurship, Business Development, and Blockchain Technology. She has had residency in Vietnam, Singapore, and Los Angeles, California, where she recently received her MBA from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
